it a go yourself. My TT is a clean car, not my DD, and it's purpose was to be my project car. As such, I am doing all the upgrades myself and learning as I go. Someday I hope to pull the engine and work a turbo upgrade- a giant leap but one I want to undertake. I wouldn't be so hard on yourself- that's how you learn. Three engines may seem excessive, but as long as you won't go into foreclosure on your new house, I'm sure you can find a way to make it work. Learning from mistakes is sometimes the best learning out there.
